Description
The Directorate of Ophthalmology is seeking to recruit a Clerical Officer for the Sheffield Diabetic Retinopathy Eye Screening Service.


The aim of a Diabetic Eye Screening Programme is to reduce the risk of sight loss amongst people with diabetes by the prompt identification and effective treatment of diabetic retinopathy.

This is achieved through a systematic screening process involving the digital imaging of the retina to identify any sight threatening changes.

The successful applicant will have excellent organisation, time management and communication skills, with attention for detail.

They will be required to work effectively as a team whilst also having the ability to work on their own initiative.
