This is an exciting time of change for patient safety and quality improvement.

CSH Surrey is looking for an experienced clinical professional with a passion for quality improvement and patient safety. Do you have experience in clinical risk management and patient safety incident investigations? Have you led on incident reviews and implemented change as a result? If so, this will be the job for you

The Head of Quality will be the designated Patient Safety Specialist and will be the lead patient safety expert in the organisation, supporting the further development of our patient safety culture and systems, engaging directly with the executive team.

They will also provide a visible, accessible, authoritative presence and be responsible for the functioning and oversight of the National Patient Safety Strategy and all related processes

The post holder will also be expected to work alongside staff to deliver planned programmes of improvement work to meet the patient safety agenda and healthcare standards for clinical governance at CSH.

They will also work as part of a wider team to ensure patient safety and quality improvement are appropriately prioritised and considered in the work of the organisation.
