Electronics Operative

Hands on electronic manufacturing position within an established manufacturer.
No experience needed, but some exposure to either SMT Operating / Soldering would be an advantage.
Chance to develop skills for someone who is practical and has a positive attitude.

The role is varied and will see you support manufacturing across different areas.

Experience with of surface mount technology is an advantage, but we are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working character who enjoys learning and working with electronics.

We can offer some training for the right person, although a background within electronics / PCB manufacture is an advantage.

Salary & Package:
c£11.00 to £14.00 per hour DOE. 25 days holiday + banks. Overtime at x1.5 hourly rate - plenty available and completely optional.

SMT Operator Responsibilities:

Setup and run SMT lines to specified efficiency and process quality levels
Responsible for quality and output.
Support several wider areas of manufacturing such as inspection or soldering. Training can be provided where needed.

The Electronics Operative Requirements:

Ideally have some prior experience running an SMT machine or Soldering.
Interest or qualifications within electronics. Take a hands on, proactive approach to work.
Flexible in nature, this is a small company so you will get the chance to work across several areas within the business.
Willingness to undergo training where required.
