A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director of Urgent and Emergency Care Operations and Improvement to join the Performance & Planning Team, working in the third largest Integrated Care System in the country, serving a population of 2.6 million across Cheshire and Merseyside.

The strategic aims of the ICS are to:

improve outcomes in population health and healthcare

- tackle inequalities in outcomes, experience, and access
- enhance productivity and value for money
- help the NHS support broader social and economic development.

The Associate Director of Urgent & Emergency Care Operations and Improvement will have a key role supporting the work of the ICB and the Director of Planning and Performance.

The post holder will have responsibility for the leadership and management of the Urgent and Emergency care Operations function and will lead on the design and delivery of the overall ICB UEC improvement agenda.
