As a Barclays Quality Assurance Assistant Vice President you will be accountable for the execution of a Quality Assurance Testing methodology which will span across all elements of the Barclays Control Framework (BCF) and Standards.

You will be in chargeof preparing sampling and conducting testing of all BCF Control Requirements, in line with the Controls Testing Standard Methodology.

What will you be doing?:


  • Supporting the embedment of the BCF in Vertical and Horizontals across the Bank
  • Supporting design of the ongoing training on BCF Standards across group that is relevant and useful to the end user
  • Assisting the BCF Horizontal Owner discharge their oversight activities
  • Supporting the BCF leadership team to continuously improve the design of the BCF
  • Monitoring and managing the Bank's compliance to the BCF Standards

What we're looking for:


  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in different business functions who have different objectives e.g. Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance
  • Demonstrates a good knowledge of the risk, control and governance strategy
  • Experience of supporting the design and embedment of a framework across an organization
  • Experience in financial services and specifically of the control frameworks applicable across the Barclays Group

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Significant experience of building and maintaining effective relationships at various levels
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Relevant business analysis experience and ability to analyze and forecast trends, developing and implementing steps to reduce risks
  • Experience of working with other Controls teams across the group to share ideas, best practices and ensure consistency of experience across Barclays
