Cafe Manager - On-site, Wrexham (£25-30k plus excellent benefits) (Monday to Friday hours)


So this is a really unique opportunity to work as a Coffee/Cafe/Bistro Manager based on-site with a company in Wrexham.


They are passionate about their employees, and want to create a warm, friendly and engaging environment in the hub of their offices.

Maybe you've been part of a big chain, working as a Manager but want to really feel part of a smaller team where you canadd much more value? Or, perhaps you've had your own business, but now feel the time is right to be employed again?


Either way, the most important thing for this role, is that you can bring a smile to people's faces, you enjoy being busy, and you can make a great coffee You'll be the 'go to' person in the Bistro, and it will feel like your own mini business as you'llbe running things from start to finish.


Overview of the role

  • Managing the onsite cafe/restaurant and being the first point of call from a service point of view
  • Working closely with (and managing) the Chef
- looking at what menu's will be available each week

  • Serving food and drinks throughout the day
  • Focusing on bringing a warm energy to the restaurant, engaging with colleagues, decorating the space, updating menus etc
  • Suggesting ideas for Charity Days in the restaurant, liaising with management and local charities to raise money
  • Cleaning, tidying and opening/closing as required
  • Ensuring Health and Safety for the restaurant at all times

What experience you'll need?:


  • Must have experience of Managing a coffee shop/restaurant/bistro or similar
  • Barista trained
  • Food Safety awareness and qualifications beneficial
  • Management experience ideally
  • Warm, friendly attitude and enjoys building strong relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Creative able to look for ways to create an inclusive environment and raise money for charity through different events
  • Happy to cover for the Chef when required
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Organised
