Temporary Technical Assistant - Highways Construction

Pay rate £12.50 per hour PAYE

This opening assignment is for 9-10 months Provide support to the area teams, whilst also supporting key staff members within the wider operations team.

Carry out the implementation, maintenance and service specific practices and procedures and to assist in the request of street works permitting and to assure legislative and statutory compliance, to support Place Group functions including quality assurance and fleet compliance Key responsibilities:

Raise permits/TTRO's and Traffic Management requests where required for Highways, Local Services dept.
Where required, populate and run schedules for surface dressing program and micro surfacing, LTP Schemes.
Provide cover at other areas in the role of service support officer in the event of absence.
Where required, Liaise with Traffic management, StreetWorks, Design and highways management for surface dressing, Micro Surface program, Maintenace and Construction Program.
Request service drawings where required using online portals.
Where required, record and monitor holidays, time sheets and overtime sheets.
Lead on the FTA to monitor and record Tachographs (Clock Watcher) and debrief individuals as required
Lead on Reactec, HAVs Monitoring systems and debrief individuals as required
Monitor the use of vehicles for services, repairs, Hirers, defects and logbooks
Responsible for notifications/monitoring of fuel consumption in depots
