Calderdale Council are looking to recruit a committed Trainee Health and Safety Advisor to join our small, dedicated team. If you seek a role which is both varied and rewarding, this job is perfect for you.

The post holder must be competent to deliver the aspiration of the Councils health and safety policy and take the authority in the direction required.

The postholder should act as a professional in all Health and Safety matters, looking after the interest of employees, property and to protect the Councils legal, moral, financial, and reputational risks.

Applications will be considered from those who hold an IOSH Managing Safely qualification as a minimum (or equivalent) and can demonstrate experience of working in a role where Health and Safety is a fundamental component.
