The Best Connection are working in partnership with our logistics/warehousing client based in Newton Aycliffe. As business levels have increased they require
Container Operatives/Labourers to support the company on an ad hoc basis.


The role:

  • Physically decanting/emptying container of contents
  • Removing items from container and placing on pallets to be placed in warehouse
  • Working as team to operate safely/efficiently to complete task
  • Physically fit as lifting/moving items from container
  • Flexible to work as containers arrive on adhoc basis and requirements would be on this basis

Hours of work:

  • Containers arrive Monday to Friday
  • 9.30am start to finish (approx. 3pm)
  • If job completed early paid minimum of 6 hours for shift

Pay Rate:
- £10.42 per hour

  • Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
