As a Cover Supervisor you will be responsible for managing a class of students across the Secondary School age range, delivering the work that has been left when teaching staff are on short-term absence.

Although you will not be expected to lead the class teaching, it is important that Cover Supervisors have the relevant skills and confidence needed to keep the class motivated, focused and on task

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Basic understanding of the National Curriculum
Strong communication skills
Ability to cover a wide range of lessons
Confidence to manage a class of pupils
Confident in their behaviour management skills you will be working with a group of children aged 1116

AK Teaching are looking for somebody with:

Drive and ambition
Ideally experience of leading sessions from past employment or teaching placements (not essential)
Excellent communication skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

Contract length: 12 months

Part-time hours: 32.5 per week

Salary:
£80.00-£140.00 per day
