Working environment

We are currently working with a hybrid working model, where there is the option of working from home combined with 4-12 days a month of working in the office.

About this role:

At YoungMinds, we are building on our track record of excellence in youth participation, to give young people's voices even more influence, visibility and impact across the work we do.

Crucially, we want to involve more young people in our work than ever, with a priority to engage young people who are most marginalised from the mental health conversation, including Black and Minoritised young people.

This role will lead the co-ordination and delivery of a new social action programme, piloting a partnership approach with a number of youth and community organisations across the country, to support young people from their local community to engage in insight sharing, creative co-production and co-campaigning activities, as well as developing their skills and confidence.

The role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining meaningful and reciprocal relationships with some of the incredible youth and community organisations providing services and support to young people in their local community.

A visible and active facilitator of great partnership working, this role will support and uplift partner organisations in their work with young people, rather than extract knowledge, resources and local influence.

The role requires anti-oppressive youth participation experience, as well as excellent relationship building skills with people of all ages and learning styles.

Critical to this role is building great relationships with staff and young people across our partnership network.
