ADMINISTRATION & ATTENDANCE ASSISTANT - PARKSTONE PRIMARY SCHOOL

Grade:3, scp 3-5


Salary:
£20,812 - £21,575 FTE, £14,093 - £14,609 Actual, £ £11.18/hr


Hours of work:30 hrs/week, Monday-Friday


Contract:
Permanent, Term time only (190 days)

We are delighted to offer the opportunity for an enthusiastic Administration & Attendance Assistant to join our wonderful team.

Working within a busy school office, you will be well organised, efficient, flexible, calm, and motivated to provide an excellent support service to our children, staff and visitors.

You will be a team player and contribute to the development of the school's attendance and support services.

Parkstone is a larger than average sized school in north Hull with places for 350 pupils aged 5-11 years.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • Provide all aspects of the administrative role
  • Undertake typing and IT based tasks e.g. database input / updating webbased sites
  • Manage attendance queries, keeping records of calls/reasons for absence, offering support and challenge when necessary
  • Analyse and evaluate attendance data/information
  • Assist all aspects of pupils' welfare including first aid and welfare duties

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


  • GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent in English and Mathematics
  • Training in IT based systems e.g. Microsoft Package, people databases, webbased systems
  • Experience of communicating with the public and outside agencies
  • Experience of producing / maintaining / evaluating data
