Steel Order Picker
Our client in Wednesbury is looking to hire Steel Order Pickers on a temp to permanent basis. Hours are Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm/ Friday 7am -5pm.


This is a 45 hour paid working week with a 20 minute paid morning break and a one hour unpaid lunch.


Responsibilities:


  • Accurately and efficiently pick customer orders from designated locations within the warehouse
  • Ensure that all picked items are in good condition and meet quality standards
  • Pack and prepare orders for shipment, on your feet for the full shift
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar role is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking purposes
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
