The Role:

  • As part of the
-
Street Works team you will help to deliver the County Councils duties under the New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 to regulate utility works in the North area of the county.

  • You will inspect utility; third party and County Council works on the highway; identify and resolve defects and work closely with contractors. You will also respond to queries from members of the public and other stakeholders, as well as supporting the local works Street Works coordination and performance management teams.
  • You will require flexibility and the ability to manage a workload with mínimal supervision is key. In addition, good customer care and communication skills are essential.
  • It is desirable that you have prior highway experience or other relevant experience.
  • You will have the ability to fulfil the travel requirements of the role

Apprenticeship Details:

This position provides an opportunity for you to attend training and complete a This position has the option of being an apprenticeship either in Level 3 Civil engineering or Level 3 Business admin, to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours as set out in the apprenticeship standard
