An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Co-ordinator to work within the Nottingham Emergency General Surgery Service on the Surgical Triage Unit and C31.

This role is central to ensuring that all elements of administration run smoothly for our areas - from the front door greeting our patients receive to providing the data necessary regarding discharges.

Main duties of the job

This role will provide administrative support for the Surgical Triage Unit (STU) and C31 including:

Day to day management of the reception team, supporting the Ward Managers in all aspects of people management and rota co-ordination.


Co-ordination and evaluation of all the administrative processes on STU and C31, to ensure that the administrative processes effectively support clinical services.

The collection of data required for activity and outcome monitoring on STU and C31.


The post holder will also support the provision of a high quality data collection and administrative service to the wider Nottingham Emergency Surgery Service as required by the Ward Managers.

  • 4 GCSEs, Grade C or above including Maths and English
  • A Level/NVQ 3 in Business & Admin or equivalent experience

The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
