Working with the Creative Squad, this role plays an integral part in producing and delivering engaging online, offline and special campaign creative that aims to define and characterise the brand.
Bring new ideas of how we represent the brand creatively through graphic design, video, animation, photography, interactive design, and multimedia.
As a Graphic Designer, you will be developing creative work that has meaningful and measurable impact, elevating our brand and long-term strategic goals.
You'll be combining the latest creative technologies and company messaging to cultivate new concepts and ideas, challenging the status quo.
We value in-person collaboration here at Matillion, therefore this role follows our hybrid work structure where Matillioners work 2 days a week in our Manchester office.
Technologies You'll Use G-suite, Asana, Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects.
What you will be doing:
- You'll be help deliver Matillion's creative and brand goals, whilst delivering quality creative work and executive highquality design deliverables
- You'll be concepting and designing content across a wide variety of media, including digital/web, print, presentation, brand elements, social, video, interactive and more, with an emphasis on digital materials
- You'll create visually stunning and typographically rich creative that fulfil design solutions
- You'll collaborate with teams across the business, including product, sales and marketing teams as well as external agencies/suppliers to ensure project requests are delivered within a timely and efficient manner
What we are looking for:
- An outstanding portfolio demonstrating you creative abilities, concepting and ideation
- Solid knowledge of the principles of design, typography, and demonstrable experience of practising from conception to execution
- Great experience and knowledge of Adobe Creative suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat for digital and print. Figma and After Effects a plus.
- You'll be comfortable articulating your ideas with both designers and noncreative types and receiving constructive feedback.
- Excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work under your own initiative
- Ability to work well as part of a remote and onsite team with a focus on collaboration and sharing of ideas
- A strong attention to detail. You'll notice the little things, like odd spacing, colours that don't match and typos.
Our estimated compensation range for this position is £32,000 - £48,000, but the final salary will be based on your relevant skills, experience and qualifications demonstrated in the hiring process.
