Salary:
£48,000+


What you'll be doing:


  • Proactive in managing contracts and framework agreement within the Global Mobility Category
  • Lead the Global Mobility Category autonomously, providing Category Strategy support where required into the Senior Category Manager
  • Managing the endtoend procurement process for all Global Mobility projects within your remit and supporting on Consultancy projects when required
  • Being involved at all stages of the project lifecycle starting with stakeholder and demand management, sourcing and tendering, contract negotiation and supplier management
  • Ensuring great supplier and stakeholder relationship engagement
  • Negotiate and agree contractual terms on behalf of BAE Systems, ensuring suppliers are appointed onto the appropriate terms and conditions
  • Working with key internal stakeholders, identify and propose new and updated procedures related to best practice in Procurement Category Management
  • Proactive in delivering stakeholder focused Category Management

Your skills and experiences:


Essential:

  • Clear Commercial & Procurement experience in Global Mobility within a large organisation
  • Knowledge of Category Management
  • Proven track knowledge in contract negotiation
  • Working with large spend previously at least £10 million +

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Contract Management
  • Highly technical contract knowledge

The Indirect Procurement team:


Playing a key role in supporting the BAE Systems Consultancy Category and Global Mobility function, you will be working across all of our Business Units.

The role will provide you with fantastic opportunities to support project delivery, covering all platforms, manufacturing areas and sites.

You will work closely with our Shared Services Global Mobility function, forging close working relationships to lead Procurement processes and add value to new and existing services.

You will also support wider business winning campaigns and new manufacturing/technology initiatives which will provide with a great insight in the vast array of activities undertaken across all BAE Systems Business Units.
