The Company


Brewster Partners are currently recruiting for a corporate legal secretary on behalf of a well-established Sheffield based client operating within the legal sector.


The Role
This is role permanent & full time. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working and is distributed across the days of Monday - Friday.

Within this role, you will be responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support to members of staff.

Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Inputting & maintaining data, distributing documentation, money laundering due diligence checks, processing correspondence accordingly
  • Adhering to set time scales & instruction to complete relevant administrative tasks and prepare correspondence
  • Maintaining & open filing processes. Including arching processes, opening new client files / client data and sending out information to clients
  • Undertake continuous personal & professional development
  • Contribute to the improvement and development of internal functions through making appropriate suggestions
  • Handle calls and phone enquiries efficiently through taking messages and distributing these accordingly whilst adhering to company policy
  • Carry out copy typing of letters / documents
This role would suit someone who has previous experience in the corporate law sector. However, applicants from various backgrounds with transferable skills are also encouraged to apply. This role will be well suited to an applicant with previous experiencein an administrative or secretarial role.

Strong organisation and prioritisation skills will be essential in this role, alongside:

  • Strong administrative skills
  • A methodological and accurate approach to work
  • Legal secretarial experience is desirable
  • Knowledge or experience of working within the legal secretarial sector
  • A flexible and adaptable approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to accurately record and input data
  • Ability to manage your own time and resources
  • Discretion with confidential information
  • Dedication to delivering high quality client care
  • Professional and positive attitude to work
