An exciting opportunity has arisen for an
HR Admin Apprentice. Under the supervision and guidance of the supportive HR team, this role will acquire the skills and on-the-job training to achieve a Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship to provide Denholm Energy Services and its subsidiary companies with effective administrative support across the full range of human resources activities.
To work with the HR team to deliver a best practice HR service for managers and employees that supports and delivers Company objectives.
The core responsibilities include:
- Uploading new employees' details on to the weekly HR system, SD Worx.
- Collating information from subsidiaries to support the weekly payroll process and send to SD Worx for processing.
- Managing employees access and absence data on SD Worx.
- Sending employee 'starter packs' and ensuring that the essential paperwork is returned within set timescales.
- Request references and ensure Right to Work documentation is received.
- Administrative support of recruitment and probationary period process, ensuring documents are returned from managers.
- Support HR team with the administration of grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations and hearings.
- Provide administrative support to the performance management process, resourcing and staff management/development ensuring trackers are kept up to date.
- To carry out general administrative duties to assist with the daytoday operation of the Group HR function.
- Be responsible for the maintenance of accurate and confidential personnel records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Provide support to the Group HR team with key HR project work as appropriate.
- Any other reasonable duties in order to ensure the smooth running of the HR department.
- Keen interest in Human Resources and Payroll
- Enthusiastic to learn and develop while supporting the HR team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and independently
- Ability to maintain professional relationships at all levels
- Experience in an HR or administrative role preferable
Technical Requirements:
Competence with Microsoft office, especially Excel is essential.
