Oakland Village and Community Care Centre are looking to recruit a highly committed and enthusiastic domestic-laundry assistant to aid us in the smooth running of a large Community Care Centre.


To work within the domestic team to provide a effective and safe management of the handling of laundry for the home.

To operate machinery - full training to be given which will include Infection Prevention Control.

Provisional Interview Date: 12 June 2024

The job may require unsocial hours working including weekends and Bank Holidays. Payment arrangements will be detailed in any contract offer made.


Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at plain time where it is part of your normal working pattern unless it is between 7pm and 7am, where enhanced rates of pay apply.

Enhanced pay rates are paid for Bank Holiday working.
