We are looking for part time kitchen assistant/ Cleaner to work daily from 10am until 5pm (Hours may vary), to join our Smart Start Childcare family You must be a team player, ambitious and highly motivated.

Kitchen Assistant duties and responsibilities
Kitchen Assistants perform a range of duties around the kitchen, including:

  • Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients
  • Using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters
  • Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed
  • Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom
  • Checking sellby dates and rotating food stock
  • Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans
  • Observing cooking times and correct temperatures
  • Cleaning around the nursery

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 25 per week


Salary:
Up to £10.42 per hour

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:


  • Catering: 1 year (required)
  • Cooking: 1 year (required)
  • Kitchen experience: 1 year (required)
