We are looking for a Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud Solutions Architect to play a key role in optimising business and technology change within our Sales and Services function.


The Salesforce solution architect's role is to evaluate all business requirements in the sales and service functions and come up with solutions in the form of products or services.

Once they are given a problem, solution architects are not only in charge of finding answers but also of actively leading the technical vision to success.


Responsibilities:

The Salesforce Solutions Architect will demonstrate competencies across four key dimensions:

  • Interpret Business Needs: Translates sales and service business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives and documents all solution architecture design and analysis work.
  • Provides deliverables like high level design and lowlevel designs against AVEVA's standard definitions, reference models and architecture designs to support architectural governance to assess the impact of new and ongoing technology investment on the business and IT estate.

Skills and qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, informationtechnology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of five years of experience in an IT solution development discipline
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments but specifically around sales and services technologies.
  • Good understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
  • Experience working in a relevant industry is helpful, but not required
  • Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps
  • Experience delivering presentations to seniorlevel executives and technical audiences
  • Experience of design and solutioning of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Service Cloud is essential
  • A broad experience of other sales and service solutions and technologies
  • Good understanding of various database technologies
  • Data savvy with knowledge of various aspects of a technology architecture like integration, network and security
  • Proven analytical, planning, organizational and technical and skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with developers
