Work Activities

  • Application Support to review/interpret audit and error logs
  • Technical Support Linux command line controls
  • Incident management & resolution utilising ServiceNow
  • Backup monitoring and verification
  • Agile development of infrastructure scripting
  • Monitor mobile devices using Airwatch MDM
  • Create Technical Application documentation
  • Monitor Virtual Servers
  • Atlassian tool setup for Jira and Confluence users
  • Event Management, detection and correction
  • Create Unix, Linux, scripts

Pay:
Upto £400 p/d Outisde ir35

Skills/Experience required

  • MS OS, MS Server, IIS, iOS
  • Unix, Linux
  • Applications/systems administration within large complex IT environments
  • Agile development methodologies
  • Application deployment, support and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of the software delivery lifecycle
  • Testing
  • In depth Civica gateway administration skills
  • Expert NetMotion administration, log and analytics interpretation, server support capability
  • 2+ years relevant experience in software support for service management
  • Backup monitoring
  • Availability and capacity planning
  • In depth knowledge of using Call Management systems including ServiceNow systems;
  • Knowledge of ITIL support processes and procedures;
  • Broad knowledge of infrastructure installations for systems;
  • Good spoken and written communication style
  • Use customer service best practice to deliver high standards of service;
  • Experience of resolving user support calls and deploying fixes
  • Knowledge and use of Open Source development and management tools such as Jira/Confluence
  • Current SC Clearance
