Purpose of the Role


Is primarily to grow our clients' businesses through delivering compelling, concise strategies that effectively diagnose the communications challenge and identify the role for media in overcoming it, providing clear, actionable tactics that inform activation.

Specifically as strategic lead for BMW Group (BMW, Mini) and 1 of 2 strategists working across the CMBC portfolio of brands including Carlsberg, San Miguel, Poretti and 1664.

Insight-generation, experimentation and an eye for bold, creative, award-worthy media solutions are particularly valued in these client groups.


Additionally, a Strategy Partner at iProspect will regularly contribute to new business pitches, training and thought-leadership development and the growth of experimentation across all aspects of the agency.

Key Responsibilities [bullet points]

  • Taking on the responsibility for 23 core clients, leading strategic planning conversations throughout the year, helping to shape the briefs we get and the responses we create.
  • Working in conjunction with the iProspect planning and activation teams both client leadership and performance planning leads as well as at other Dentsu functions and external partners, to make great work happen.
  • Taking the lead on new business briefs, shaping our story to prospective clients and being a critical leader in pitch processes and presentations
  • Each member of the iProspect strategy team is encouraged to take ownership of internal cultural initiatives linked to their personal passion points and strengths from training to facilitation to inspiration helping to shape our working lives whilst in the office or remotely.
  • Helping to shape and communicate our brand identity through promotion of work, speaking and writing.


However, whilst client responsibility is critical and agency contribution essential, the ultimate responsibility of a Strategy Partner is to themselves.

They should want to dedicate time and energy to their own development so that they're always able to provide a new and invaluable perspective in their work.

Experience + Skills [bullet points]

  • Strong strategy and account planning experience within the Media field.
  • Experienced individual, adept at presenting to Marketing Directors and C-Suite.
  • Must be curious about the outside world, willing to defy conventional wisdom and capable of inspiring change.
  • Motivated, selfstarting, collaborative team player who is willing to work independently when required.
  • Enjoys problemsolving, meets challenges with grace and optimism, is solutionsoriented.
  • Good analytical skills and an understanding of basic statistical concepts and track record of experimentation would be advantageous.
