Quality Control Inspector / Machinist (Press Break & Laser)

Salary: £12 £16 per hour
Hours: 40 hours Monday
Friday, flexible hours between 8am5pm
Job Type**: Full Time, Permanent

Our client a very successful and well established Welding & Fabrication business in Lowestoft is looking for a Quality Inspector / Engineer.

We are searching for a talented QC Inspector to join our clients sheet metal fabrication company near Lowestoft.

In this Quality Control Inspector / Machinist role, you will not only be responsible for inspecting our products with meticulous precision, but you will also have the chance to operate our client's state-of-the-art Press Break and Laser machines.

You will also get to be a part of our Goods In/Out process and even enjoy a bit of delivery driving on the side.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector / Engineer to join a forward thinking Engineering Business who look to continually invest in their equipment, people and the offering to their customers.

Requirements and responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector / Machinist:

Experience operating Press Break and Laser Machinery
Goods in / Goods Out Process
Quality Inspection requirements across all manufacturing operations with be required.
Welding background will be advantageous
Developing and amending processes / procedures
Conduct internal audits, manage external audits
Root cause investigations
Creation of inspection reports and work instructions
Liaise with customers on quality issues
Work to ISO 9001 standards
