An exciting Warehouse Manager opportunity to join a global Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain business based in Corby. The role benefits from an excellent salary of £35,000 with sociable working hours of 08:30-17:30 working Monday to Friday.

Description

The Warehouse Manager role in Corby will involve:

Management and control of all operational activity, resources and equipment.
Communicate daily and weekly with the management team.
Ensure training matrix is fully understood and utilised.
Control agency usage and quality.
Deliver customer satisfaction and service excellence.
Control operational costs.
Create shift briefs and daily operational plans.
Develop staff under the continuous improvement strategy.
Monitor and review staff retention working with HR to ensure understanding of staff turnover.
Fully responsible for the H&S of the warehouse in which is under your management.

Profile

The successful Warehouse Manager will have:

Managed warehouse teams in a 3PL environment.
Good Health and Safety knowledge.
Experience working in a role with autonomy, setting and changing processes to ensure the business runs well.
Excellent people management skills.
Good IT skills (Word, Excel, WMS).
Able to set and manage budgets.
