About the role


Join our Facilities Team in Brighton, where you'll be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for staff, contractors and visitors.


This role is being offered on a 6-month fixed term contract basis.

  • Planning essential central services such as security maintenance, cleaning, wastedisposal and recycling.
  • Calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money.
  • Planning for future development in line with strategic business objectives.
  • Coordinating and leading one or more teams to cover various areas of responsibility.
  • Using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels to lead on improvements.
  • Responding appropriately to onsite emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
  • Work alongside the Facilities and H&S officer to comply with all H&S procedures.
  • Carry out site inspections, risk assessments, fire & first aid compliance. Reporting breaches or hazards as required.
  • Support the Facilities Manager in Project and Contractor Management.
  • Manage helpdesk systems ensuring clear communication with staff and team members for resolving jobs/queries as they arrive.
  • Delegate work loads across team members and contractors.
  • Maintaining accurate records and scheduling of the asset register across all UK sites.
  • Booking in maintenance / service visit and ensuring legal documentation and certificates are held on file and comply with H&S procedures.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in a similar role such as a maintenance or facilities, with good administration skills.
