About us:


The UCL Estates Operations team manages a property portfolio of over 645,000m2 of diverse real estate on behalf of UCL, supporting over 48,000 student and nearly 15,000 staff.

Managing an in house UCL workforce of 250 staff and a contractor workforce of over 1,000, the primary function of the division is to provide all Facilities Management services including, cleaning, security and maintenance.


Campus Experience and Infrastructure are seeking to recruit a Helpdesk Desk Operative to work within a small team which is responsible for providing first class customer service in accordance with agreed service levels.


About the role:


The Help Desk Performance Operative will work within a small team which is responsible for providing first class customer service in accordance with agreed service levels.

They will be responsible for gathering necessary data to allow for performance monitoring of the Estates Operational teams with a view to ensuring an excellent customer experience and will provide a proactive professional service including developing a sound understanding of customer needs, adapting the service accordingly.


About you:


To excel in this role, you will need to have experience working cooperatively and strategically in a team environment with all levels of personnel, and internal and external stakeholders.

You will be a confident and clear communicator and will be able to demonstrate success in developing and managing relationships with support functions and third party suppliers in previous roles.


You will need a broad working knowledge of policies and procedures in a complex academic institution or similar complex organisation and the ability top manage your time effectively, prioritising tasks when required, multitasking and meeting deadlines.

You are able to manage competing priorities, are results focused and are able to work at pace while maintaining accuracy.

You will be able to approach difficult situations in a calm and professional way, and have a positive and collegiate attitude.
