Description:

Agility are delighted to be working with an FMCG manufacturer based in Fulwood.

With a strong reputation as a great employer and the business constantly expanding, it is no surprise that they need an extra purchase ledger clerk.

You will be responsible for ensuring continued productivity within the purchase ledger function, ensuring invoices are processed effectively and accurately to meet supplier expectations and ensuring purchasing costs are recognised promptly.


What you will be doing:

  • Processing supplier invoices and credit notes
  • Set up new supplier accounts.
  • Processing weekly payment runs and managing payments within set cash limits.
  • Statement reconciliation
  • Run relevant reports for goods inwards and match deliveries against invoices.
  • Processing and monitoring supplier uplifts, liaising with the warehouse & suppliers as required to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Maintenance of the company payment cashbooks and ensuring all payments are recorded correctly within the systems.
  • Any other ad hoc duties

What you will have:

  • Previous purchase ledger experience
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
