Do you want responsibility for managing a credit manager team? Do you enjoy working on improving processes? Are keen to move into a role that will need you to take on more responsibility?

Gleeson Recruitment Group are supporting a multisite organisation in Kidderminster who are looking for a Credit Manager to join their team.

With an aim of supporting a Finance Controller and help drive the team to achieve targets and update processes andprocedures.

The role will see a Credit Manager ownership of the team and create structure and engagement.

Credit Manager Responsibilities:

Support and manage both purchase ledger and credit control teams
Work with Purchase ledger team to ensure all invoices are posted on a timely basis
Support Credit control team to ensure invoice issues are identified before they are overdue
Ensure creditors ledgers on all accounts are cleared within the requisite terms
Build relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure key customer issues are flagged
Present bimonthly aged debt reviews with Financial Controller and Managers
Work with Sales and Operations teams to identify repeat credit issues and fix root cause
Responsibility for intercompany balances and agreement on a monthly basis
Create and monitor cash forecasting process
Attendance and involvement in process improvement activities
Ensure bank reconciliations are completed and signed off
Accuracy of foreign currency forecasting and communicating
Work with IT on implementation of a new expenses process
Staff development and succession planning
Ad hoc requests as required

To be successful in this role, ideally you'll come from a credit control manager background or transactional management background and be used to working to support and manage your team.

You'll be confident in supervising and managing staff and have a greatsolid knowledge of accounts receivable and credit control.
