The role:
To ensure the production, despatch, delivery and service to the customer of food, bars and agreed services is managed effectively whilst ensuring that food quality standards are industry leading.
Operationally focused to manage all activities with effective KPI's while driving for culinary excellence in a fast paced environment, you will need energy and tenacity to drive the progress required for this business.
There are two options for Shifts 1pm-10pm or 6am-3pm.
This role will be based at Manchester Airport.
What you'll you be doing will include:
- liaising with the General Manager in the development of forecasts and budget targets which support the unit operational plan.
- Ensuring that all unit activities are planned and organised to meet scheduled targets utilising the identified best practice tools.
- Monitoring and reviewing unit performance and individual process performance on a daily, weekly and period basis, ensuring action plans are initiated and reviewed, communicating issues and resolutions as required.
- Providing General Manager with periodic reports regarding unit/ units performance regarding cost, service, compliance and people.
- Ensuring the unit team contributes positively to achieving exceptional levels of internal and external customer service.
- Effectively reviewing process performance utilising the information management system.
- Ensuring all significant airside incidents are investigated ensuring positive communication is maintained with appropriate customer personnel and corrective actions agreed.
- Strive to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
- Holding daily operating meeting to agree action plans and communicate issues and resolutions.
- Ensure unit wide compliance and legislative, customer and company standards, with particular focus on food safety, health and safety and airside safety procedures.
