Grade 5 Spinal column points 7-11 FTE salary: £24,294 to £25,979


We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, across Dudley and South Staffordshire.

Wombourne High School is situated on Ounsdale Road, Wombourne.


We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Caretaker, which a flexible approach to work and a "can do" and friendly attitude to join our Site Team.

The post is 37 hours per week, all year round to be worked normally within the core time of 6.00am - 7.00pm depending on the needs of the service.

The working day operates on two shift patterns, alongside the Site Manager, Shift patterns are alternated weekly and can typically operate from 6am - 2pm or 11am - 7pm.

Flexibility is required to cover for holidays. The Site Manager and Caretaker are both rota'd for emergency call-outs 7 days a week.

You will need to have a;

  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety, including Asbestos and Legionella.
  • High Level allround maintenance ability along with excellent problem solving, timemanagement and customer service skills.
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Category D1 preferred
