Support Practitioners on a part-time, permanent basis.***

The Role


Jigsaw provides support to children and adults who have a range of disabilities or additional support needs giving vital respite to families.

As a Support Practitioner you will play an essential role in making a positive difference to the lives of the children and young people by supporting them to achieve their goals and have fun.

You'll support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care and will also assist them to take part in various fun activities such as playing music, doing arts and crafts, cooking, baking and playing games.

Our team pride themselves on working together to make a positive difference.

By taking a person centred and outcomes focused approach, you will get to know the people we support as individuals, encourage their independence and help them recognise their potential.

As well as working in our fun and friendly team there will be aspects of lone working in your role.

To be a great Support Practitioner we'll need you to be;

  • A great listener with excellent communication skills.
  • Have a caring attitude and calm approach.
  • Have a positive approach to learning.
  • Passionate about going above and beyond what's expected.
  • Confidence in the use of technology.

Shift Patterns
Typical shifts would be Saturdays for 4 hours, usually 10am - 2pm.
