Description

Due to continued growth, we are recruiting a Global Technical Specialist who will be responsible for owning and delivering key tasks in support of ensuring we deliver world class technical and product support.


Reporting to the Global Technical Manager, this is a key opportunity to take ownership of technical documentation (Service Bulletins, Service Manuals and others), and support the wider Global and regional service teams to ensure the Technical Support function has the tools and resources needed.


Duties include:

  • Coordinating and supporting Technical and Service Delivery initiatives globally
  • Supporting the Global Technical Manager to deliver effective support to the regional teams; managing escalations, reporting any failures or trends
  • Working closely with Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure product improvements are identified, implemented and communicated effectively
  • Liaising with regional Service colleagues to ensure issues are resolved and best practices are followed globally
  • Working with Global Technical Manager to identify and implement improvements to these processes
  • Providing process support to service delivery teams across Global regions to ensure they are supported in daytoday activities and empowered to give effective feedback
Ideally, you will have fault diagnosis experience with a robust knowledge of mechanical systems.


In addition you should possess:

  • Effective practical skills with a methodical approach to resolving problems
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise across a number of departments and customers
  • Excellent time managements skills with demonstrable experience of completing assigned activities within a timely manner
  • Selfmotivation with the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent telephone manner and robust Microsoft Office skills
