Operations assistant

£24,471

Nottingham

As the Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating the heavy plant, over head cranes, and other mobile plant on-site
  • Operating the weighbridge and managing onsite traffic for the delivery and collection of materials
  • Ensuring compliance with Health, safety, and environmental polices and procedures
  • Carry out inspections, tests, and samplings of waste onsite
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

  • Ability to operator various mobile plant (full training provided)
  • And understanding of Health and Safety in a busy environment
  • Previous experience in a similar industry (industrial plant, power, construction, recycling etc)
  • Ability to learn and train within a new role
  • Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays
