What you'll be doing:
- Involvement in the creation/definition of future Manufacturing apprenticeships, based on future business demands
- Collaborating with various teams across the Air Manufacturing arena to support the definition of future manufacturing roles including any systems related improvements
- Working with the broader Capability Team to aid the refresh of existing and development of new training interventions
- Collaborating with and working alongside the Manufacturing People Capability Team
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Knowledge and experience of Manufacturing Operations
- Demonstrated experience in Change Management, having a demonstrable ability to influence and affect change
- Ability to Influence and engage an extended network and virtual teams across the wider business
- Leadership skills/ people management experience
Desirable
- Proven introduction of new manufacturing technologies & techniques
- Budget management experience
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Principles
- Comfortable presenting to and influencing senior management

The Manufacturing Future Lead:
As a part of the Manufacturing People Capability team, you will have an opportunity to influence changes and to help define the future of the workforce.
You will be contributing to various projects such as Apprentice Standards, Future Role & Skillset Definition, Technology & Systems, conducting research and Data Analysis to inform Business Decisions.
This is a new, exciting and challenging role that will provide the intelligent link between the developments in manufacturing technology and the translation into the operational manufacturing environment with particular focus of people capability and skill sets.
