Your Role:


An exciting role supporting Apollo on our collective journey to success we are seeking a Head of Operations to support the Chief Operating Officer and the Operations Team.


The role provides opportunity to build an In house service Team and MGA frameworks and opportunity to implement a framework.

This position will be will be key to developing a service orientated mindset including key projects, including building out the Credit Control function at Apollo.


What you'll do:


  • Take ownership of Business Continuity/ Operational Resilience for their area of responsibility as stipulated by the business and complete all relevant documentation within company agreed timelines
  • Make reassemble time to attend training and exercises as stipulated by the business
  • Make sure that line managed staff attend agreed training and exercises when designated to do so
  • Provide resemble time for all line managed staff to attend training and exercises as provided by the BusinessonBusiness Continuity/ Operational Resilience
  • Take reasonable steps to ensure that the business of Apollo is controlled effectively
  • Take reasonable steps to ensure that the business of Apollo complies with the relevant requirements and standards of the regulatory system
  • Take reasonable steps to ensure that any delegation of your responsibilities is to an appropriate person and that you oversee the discharge of the delegated responsibility effectively
  • Acting with due skill, care and diligence
  • Be open and cooperative with Lloyd's, the FCA, the PRA and other regulators
  • Pay due regard to the interests of customers and treat them fairly
  • Observe proper standards of market conduct
  • Any other ad hoc tasks as may be defined by the Chief Operating Officer

What we are looking for:


  • The right level of person would have the desire and ability to be handson as well as delivering to the strategic needs of the position.
  • Ability to manage and improve the organisations outsourcing relationship(s) or Vendor Management partnerships.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Lloyds market from Operations perspective with specfic focus on Underwriting, Claims, and Delegated Authorities.
  • Knowledge of Central Market Services/ Joint Venture, DXC
  • Knowledge of Records Management Systems (RMS)
  • Data entry (Vendor/ outsourcing partner)
