Duration of Post Permanent

Hours 5 days per week (08:40 a.m.

15:40 p.m.)

Monday to Friday (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)

Part-time will be considered and discussed at interview

Work Commitment 39 weeks

Salary Range Level 3 SCP 7 £24,294.00 Gross FTE

Thomas Eaton Primary Academy seek to appoint an inspirational, dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Level 3 Teaching Assistant, with experience, to join our experienced team.

We are looking for someone with relevant experience who will bring enthusiasm and a commitment to children's learning to our happy and friendly school.

Every day you will be assisting in teaching language, literacy and numeracy helping the class reach the early learning goals of the national curriculum, along with encouraging good behavior.

The ability to build good relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues;
Commitment to equal opportunities;
Be flexible and have experience of using different strategies to achieve the desired outcomes.
The ability to work in a team but also to use your own initiative;
Organisational and time management skills;
The ability to manage classes well and deal with low level challenging behavior;
Excellent communication skill;
Have a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and expectations
Patience and a good sense of humour.
