The Well Women Centre is delighted to be in a position to increase our casework provision to better meet the needs of women in Wakefield.

We are recruiting for a Group Caseworker who will deliver age specific psycho-educational and emotional support interventions in group settings and some one to one, both in the community and within the centre.

The role will support women in Wakefield with multiple and complex needs to achieve meaningful and long-lasting change.

The Casework team enhance our ability to provide and promote gender specific support for women and will have a focus on reaching out to women that find it difficult to come forward for support.

The Group Caseworker is supported by the Safeguarding & Referrals Coordinator and the Casework Team Leader.

This role offers an opportunity to someone who is excellent at building and maintaining trust with women that are navigating complicated and distressing life events.

In this role you will offer group interventions of self-help and self-help focused sessions to groups of women.

Additionally you hold a small case load of 1:1 client offering flexible and responsive advocacy, emotional support and some psycho-educational support.
