Macildowie are currently working with a market leading, growing business based in Derbyshire.

They are consistently investing in their organisation and they are now seeking a high calibre Interim Financial Reporting Manager with a strong technical backgroundto join their team.

The role will be office based in Derby 3 times per week and 2 at home.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Finance team, be responsible for the group consolidation and monthly management accounts reporting, annual statutory reportingand compliance.

A little bit about the role:

Financial Reporting
Consolidate the monthly group management accounts, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and completeness of submissions from divisions, and including balance sheet maintenance
Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, including coordination of audit working paper schedules
Prepare interim and annual reports, reconciled to Group management accounts
Ensure group accounting policies are followed
Deliver balanced technical financial support with commercial perspective

So who are you?

You will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have experience in technical Financial Reporting/Statutory/Regulatory roles including IFRS
You'll be used to working in a fast paced business and you will thrive on making decisions, improvements to both processes and team capabilities.
You'll love taking the initiative and at times, being autonomous. You'll be solutions focused and see opportunity rather than issues
Experience of working through difficult situations and improving business capability
Practical, hands on experience of managing financial controls of a £multimillion business
