Description

We run before and after school club at the Middleton Primary School in Wollation for children aged 4 11 year olds.

We create a fun and safe place for school-aged children, looking after their physical and mental well being - as well as providing essential breakfast and after school snacks

Working on an annualised, term time only contract basis, we are looking for a caring, enthusiastic Senior Play Leader to work at our wrap-around school clubs.

Working 23 hours per week in term term, your working week will look like:
Term Time: 7.30am - 9am and 2.45pm - 6pm Monday - Friday

You will be an energetic, passionate individual who loves children, loves playing and creating games and activities to give them an enjoyable experience.

You will plan and deliver exceptional play activities, inspiring your team to ensure our programme maintains high standards of play through a fun, safe and positive programme of activities.

You will have brilliant communication skills and you will have an excellent rapport with parents and carers, children, colleagues, and school staff alike.

Youll champion our Core Values of Caring, Respect, Responsibility and Honesty throughout the play you deliver, and ensure the wellbeing and happiness of children is always put first.

The technical bit - we need someone ideally who holds a Level 3 qualification in early years, play work or childcare provision, with a paediatric first aid qualification, although we could support you gain these qualifications if required.
