We have a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic administrator to join the Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team (CNRT) based in Horsham.

The role of administrator is varied and dynamic, supporting the team to deliver and develop clinical services.

The role will include responding to telephone and electronic queries from a range of people, so excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team are essential.


You will act as the key point of contact for the service, delivering excellent customer service at all times to a range of professionals, referrers, patients and their relatives or carers.


You will provide an efficient and robust administrative service, working alongside the clinical team to ensure the team operates effectively.

This will include tasks such as managing team correspondence, managing agendas and compiling minutes, managing referrals.


The CNRT provide assessment and rehabilitation to people with a diagnosis of a long term or acquired neurological condition, including stroke, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Motor Neuron Disease (MND) and brain injury.


CNRT is made up of a range of professions, such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and dieticians.

We are a dynamic service, continually seeking ways to evolve and develop the care that we provide, in line with the evidence base and national guidance.


Your main duties as administrator are: answering queries in a timely manner, monitoring a dedicated in-box for referrals/clinical requests, and responding to routine matters relating to patient and service demands, ordering supplies


You will use your IT skills and experience to prepare agendas, take notes and minutes of team meetings, and circulate actions and outcomes in a timely way.

You will demonstrate independent working, using own initiative with mínimal supervision ensuring you keep an understanding of the flow of work/ priorities through the service

Experience working in a healthcare setting and some familiarity with medical terminology will be advantageous for this role.
