About the Company:A specialist metal manufacturing company are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team.

**Quality Engineer

  • Key Tasks/ Duties**This is a handson role that would suit an experienced Quality Professional with a strong background in quality control and in process improvement within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure all products are final inspected to production deadlines.
  • Conduct regular internal audits.
  • Raising of internal and external NCRs, investigating the RC, and coordinating the implementation of the permanent corrective and preventative actions.
  • Assisting with ISO 9001 management system duties
  • Ensuring suppliers meet quality specifications, liaising with customers over quality concerns & concessions.
**Quality Engineer

  • Essential skills**:
  • Experience of fine limit sheet metal inspection.
  • Confident in raising NCRs and conducting investigations to find the root cause.
  • Experience of using FMEA, 8D, AQAP processes.
  • Experience and understanding of ISO 9001.
**Quality Engineer

  • Desirable Skills*
  • Experience of CMM.
  • Experience of auditing to ISO 9001 level
