Edinburgh or Bristol - For many of our office based colleagues, we work in hybrid ways which involves spending at least two days per week or 40% of their time at one of our office sites.


Salary & Benefits:

The base salary banding for this role is £66,861 to £74,290 plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

The Insurance & Wealth Lab is comprised of PEGA feature teams that deliver business changes for Insurance & Wealth Transformation.

These changes include both ongoing business priorities and major core programmes.

Specific activities which you'll be responsible for include things like;- Improve facilitation of change using agile methodology and support the team to understand Scrum theory and standard methodologies in refinement, prioritisation, customer engagement and introducing tools and techniques.- Working with the Team Product Owner to support the prioritisation of the backlog.

The scrum master will mentor and train to help maximise the value created by the Team.- Guiding the scrum to break work into small, discrete pieces of value or learning,- Encourage your team's understanding of Agile frameworks, Transformation Principles and Practices.

Support them to establish their ways of working, to self-manage and continuously improve in delivering change and value safely.- Enable those around you to understand and visualise the optimal sequence of work, measure and understand their performance through metrics- Coach and empower colleagues to self-manage, utilise feedback for continuous learning and improvement in efficient and incremental value delivery


What do we need to see from applicants- Operating collaboratively at Team level as a change agent with a passion for working with people and teams to help them reach their best and deliver their best for customers and the bank.- Great communicator, articulate and clear ensuring everyone understands their role, whilst also being engaging, able to use story telling so all are focused on a common objective- Whilst we strive to operate in an Agile way, a background in traditional project management would be of benefit.

- Experience of defining, delivering, and adapting specialized products/services to meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems would be beneficial


Desirable skills to have- We'd love it if you also had knowledge and some experience of other techniques that support Agile working, such as Dev Ops, Lean, System Thinking, Queueing Theory, Complex Adaptive systems, Theory of Constraints / Critical Chain.
