Description

To communicate effectively routine information which requires tact or persuasive skills with the patients in an effort to encourage and motivate them towards their therapeutic goals.

To be able to assess, measure and issue appropriate walking aids and instruct patients on their safe use with knowledge gained through training and with reference to a physiotherapist.

To be responsible for own time-management, maintaining an efficient diary where needed whilst ensuring effective delivery of day-to-day services. To monitor stocks within the department and re-order supplies using the appropriate systems.

To assist in the general maintenance of treatment areas, alongside therapy staff to ensure a clean, tidy, hazard-free environment for patients and staff.
