Your role

Are you an agile and detailoriented problemsolver? Do you have coding experience? Can you thrive in a dynamic work environment? Do you know how to effectively provide support, collaborate, and work as team player?
We're looking for a desk quant / trade capture specialist to:
build new and support existing data visualization reports in PowerBI/Tableau

- help manage the interest rate risk of the FX option and notes business and optimizing our funding position
- support trading in FX derivatives and act as a point of contact for queries, trade processing and life-cycling tasks
- provide support to the trading desk on trade bookings, reports, liaising with settlement groups and reconciling trades & systems
- help establish a strong risk control environment and ensure trades are reflected in the system in accordance to regulatory requirements
- manage trading flow using the relative systems and also, when necessary, investigate any trade breaks or irregularities
- work with partners in logistics areas to resolve trade discrepancies on new trade events and then suitably escalating high risk items
- investigate and resolve any unexplained P&L as a result of new trade event

You'll be working in the FX derivatives trading team in London. We trade a range of options, swaps and rates products across the global foreign exchange markets with teams in London, New York and Singapore. We provide solutions and execution in a simple, intuitive and flexible way. As a desk quant and trade capture specialist, you'll play an important role in supporting our Traders service our clients to identify and access the products and liquidity they need.
Your expertise

- hold a university degree
- previous experience working with trade capture and controls, within the finance sector
- process and product knowledge of FX derivatives is preferred
- coding (preferably Python, VBA) and workflow automation (Alteryx) experience
- data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, matplotlib) preferred
- excellent communicator, fluent in English
- able to multitask, stay well organized and you love it when no two days are the same
- resilient team player
