Description

Our UK Law Firm Client is seeking a Facilities Assistant to join the London office on a permanent basis, directly reporting into the Head of Business Services and the Facilities Manager.

Due to the nature of the role, it will full time in the office based,will pay up to £35,000 plus fantastic benefits.


Key duties for the Facilities Assistant will include daily house-keeping checks to ensure all areas have been correctly cleaned, meeting rooms are properly set up, printers are fully stocked, kitchens are correctly supplied, post room duties, to includeopening and distribution of mail, and collection and franking of mail, distribution of courier packages, deeds and files etc.

Ensuring all packages received by courier / by hand are delivered promptly to relevant Fee Earners, delivery and collection of localby-hand post, assisting with printing, copying, scanning, binding & laminating requests - ensuring accuracy at all times, assisting with stationery and other supply checks - carrying out regular stock reviews, assisting with purchases and unloading deliveries,collection of secure shredding & recycling, checking minor faults with copiers / printers (e.g. paper jams) and calling an engineer if fault persists; replacing toner cartridges when necessary, and assisting with archiving and retrieval of files, deeds andoriginal documents.

The facilities Assistant will also produce KPI's for all facilities tasks, liaise with building management to ensure all health and safety and maintenance checks are carried out and faults reported and assist with new joiner inductions.


This is a great opportunity for a facilities assistant seeking to take on more hands-on duties within a legal environment.

It is key that you have fantastic communication skills and hard work ethic. Please note some of the duties will involve physical activitye.g., post runs, meeting room set ups and desk moves.
