Full Time, Permanent (37 hours per week)

£20,456 - £21,657 (SP1- SP17)


Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Newcastle.

We offer a wide-ranging curriculum to our Further Education students, including Arboriculture, Horticulture, Agriculture, Animal Management, Countryside and the Environment, Engineering, Equine, Floristry, Motorsport, Professional Tree Surgery, Outdoor Adventure Sport, Sports Development, Coaching and Fitness and Uniformed Public Services.


We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our Estates and Facilities team, to assist with the efficient running of the department.


Reporting to the Director of Estates & Facilities, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day management of the College estate and the fulfilment of our ambitious Estates strategy.


The successful applicant will provide general administrative support as well as direct operational administration of various aspects of the department including insurance claims, mobile phone management and budget reporting.

With excellent organisational skills and attention to detail you will provide support in generating reports, developing and maintaining estates records, collating and organising project information, checking and challenging energy invoicing, maintenance and upkeep of departmental financial records

You will need to be customer focussed, have good communication skills and be confident working with various stakeholders.


Proficient in Microsoft office and with excellent IT skills you will also be confident working independently and accurately, often meeting tight deadlines.
