Description

Interim Financial Reporting Analyst needed for an instantly recognisable blue-chip media brand.

Working at group level, you will be responsible for internal and external reporting and planning and analysis across the business.

The role will play a pivotal part in supporting various Finance Teams to achieve strong technical accuracy and meet reporting deadlines.

Key requirements Main point of contact for technical queries across the business.

Playing a key role in determining the accounting impact of commercial decisions across monthly, budget and forecast reporting.
Reporting on revenue recognition, intercompany transactions, foreign exchange, financial instruments, leases and fixed assets, investments, consolidation and eliminations.
Review and analysis of monthend reconciliations.
Providing training to the wider finance community.
Working with the business and key stakeholders to support the preparation of yearend financial statements
Awareness of current and prospective technical accounting and reporting requirements under both IFRS and UK GAAP
Experience working at group level
Extensive knowledge and experience with yearend accounting
SAP Experience
