HR Policy Specialist

The LHH HR team are working with a private sector business to appoint a HR Policy Specialist to join their team based in the Birmingham.
Responsibilities:
- Audit and assess the effectiveness of existing HR policies
- Develop new or revise existing HR policies in line with business needs and company values
- Collaborate with HR, legal, and other teams to ensure that policies are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations
- Communicate and train employees on new and updated policies
- Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of HR policies
About you:
- CIPD qualified or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in HR policy development and implementation
- Thorough knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
