The LHH HR team are working with a private sector business to appoint a HR Policy Specialist to join their team based in the Birmingham.


Responsibilities:


  • Audit and assess the effectiveness of existing HR policies
  • Develop new or revise existing HR policies in line with business needs and company values
  • Collaborate with HR, legal, and other teams to ensure that policies are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Communicate and train employees on new and updated policies
  • Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of HR policies

About you:


  • CIPD qualified or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in HR policy development and implementation
  • Thorough knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
